Maniki III is available for select charter opportunities. Maniki is a spacious off shore charter vessel licensed to comfortably accommodate 12 passengers. Originally designed by respected ship builder Marko Sambrailo in 1982 as a cray fishing boat, she has been completely refitted to provide a stable support station for 'Nemo' and has undergone extensive improvements both in functionality and comfort.

  • Navigation and Maneuverability - Maniki can be controlled either from the lower bridge on the main deck or the upper bridge on the sun deck. She is equipped with state of the art navigational and plotting systems that allow her to interpret the undersea terrain and produce a detailed three dimensional map of the sea floor. Once an interesting anomaly has been detected, Nemo can quickly be dispatched to explore the area first hand.

  • Launch Capabilities - Maniki is equipped with a purpose built gantry that has a three ton launch capacity. As well as providing a stable deployment platform for Nemo, it is also capable of deploying objects such as IMAX camera systems, ROV's, and any other commercial equipment that will fit on Maniki's large rear deck.

  • Comfort and Style - The design of Maniki's tastefully refitted interior accentuates her size. The spacious lounge area is ideal for socializing and relaxing after a hard days exploration, and the galley while modest, is well stocked and equipped for multiple days at sea. The large upper sundeck provided unrestricted views of the surrounding sea and the activity taking place on the lower rear deck.

  • Sleeping Quarters - Maniki has two private, air conditioned cabins and additional sleeping space in the lounge. The Master Cabin contains two double beds and is equipped with a monitor that displays all the critical data from the bridge. The second cabin is a V-berth that contains four comfortable single bunks.

  • Diver Support Capability - Maniki is equipped with a well maintained high pressure air compressor. The pumping station is well located close to the dive platform on the back deck. As well as a low swim step and ladder to aid in diver recovery, An acoustic transducer is kept on board at all times to facilitate communication between divers and surface crew should this be desired.
